How To Make A Paper Windmill

1. The square colored origami is folded diagonally and cut into two triangles with scissors or a manual knife (so prepare four colored triangles, two for each color).
2. Fold the triangle in half again, pinch the bottom of the triangle, and remember that the sharp corners on the top cannot be twisted to avoid the shape of the pinwheel in the later period.
3. Cut two circles with colored origami paper, glue the tip of the top of the triangle that has been cut, and then stick it to the circular colored paper (so all eight triangles are glued together).
4. The corner from which eight sticky triangles protrude is reversed to stick to the center position, and then another round colored paper is sticked out of the center position. In this way, the main body of the windmill is ready.
5. Prepare a piece of colored origami paper and roll it into a stick to serve as a windmill pillar.
6. Cut two small pieces of paper and roll them. One roll of paper is put on the top of the toothpick. The other end of the toothpick passes through the circle in the center of the windmill body, and then the roll of paper is passed through the toothpick.
7. Glue one end of the rolled paper stick around the toothpick and wait for the glue to dry before the windmill is completed.

1. The liquid glue does not stick well during use. Each time you use the liquid glue, you need to wait for two minutes.
2. After the experiment, the effect of solid glue will be better. If you have solid glue at home, it is recommended to choose solid glue.
3. If the paper stick is not hard enough or the length is not enough, you can use iron wire to wear inside the paper stick to facilitate the windmill to rotate.

1. Be careful when using scissors and glue
2. Use glue carefully to avoid sticking the glue to your hands and clothes
3. Children need to operate under the supervision of adults to avoid being injured by scissors
